What is True Love?
Many people spend a lifetime seeking for true love. Many romantic comedies are about true love and suggest that actually it is out there, you just need to find it! This creates a misconception in society. People are made to believe that every Jack will find his Jill eventually. The desire for a harmonious relationship and unconditional trust is what drives many lonely hearts. One has to be careful as not to be too picky when defining one’s search criteria for a potential match.
Make sure as not to set your standards too high, considering each person has his own personal flaws! Many people fall in love easily and think that they have found true love. After a few years have passed however, there comes a time where you might ask yourself if you have made the right choice, or if you are simply over the cloud-number 9-phase. Then a decision must be made whether to stay together happily ever after or whether to call it quits.
However though, some are really lucky to have found the perfect match. The chemistry which was imminent at the beginning of a relationship is still there even after decades. They understand each other instinctively and they are always there for one another. The social status and appearance of the respective partner are not important when it comes to true love. You simply love each other and you are carefree and there is no such thing as a barter agreement. Meaning, one partner contributes his/her beauty to the relationship and the other his/her social status. You do not pretend to be someone you are not and you do not have the intention of changing the partner’s behavior.
True love does indeed exist, yet it is hard to find!
