The country’s fairytale nature is what makes it so appealing to many. Midsummer night in June is the longest night in Sweden. During summer, sun rises at 3:30am and in the winter it already sets at 3:30pm. No wonder, Swedes are so prone to mood swings.
During the winter time one wants to make sure to move swiftly from one cozy place to another, but during the summer, though people are much more social and spend as much time outdoors as they can, for example in parks, in their cottage by the lake or at a barbecue.
